Some of the more frequently asked questions are answered below.

  • How do I get my child involved in the program?

Generally, EYSA will publish two articles in the Edgerton Reporter prior to registration and also will have registration forms available at Edgerton Community, Edgerton Yahara and Edgerton Middle Schools.  You may also download the from this website and send in the registration form with your check. Instructions are on the form.

  • I sent my registration and payment in and have not heard a response from EYSA. What should I do?

Generally, EYSA will finalize the rosters about 2 weeks prior to the start of the season.  During this time, we are attempting to obtain coaches, referees and schedule games.  Your patience is greatly appreciated since the coaches who are also volunteers, are receiving the rosters and instructions. They will contact you as soon as they can.  If you would like to help coach a team, that would greatly help in establishing teams faster and getting the rosters out to the respective coaches.

  • What is expected of me during practices and games?

The purpose of the program is to provide a safe, fun experience for the participants as well as developing the necessary skills to play soccer for years to come. The parent/player code of conduct can be viewed here or found on the registration form.

  • I want to get involved. What can I do to help?

There are many things that a parent can do to help ensure the success of the program. We are seeking volunteers to help with concessions, field preparation, fundraising as well as coaching.

Please contact one of the committee members for details.

  • I see some players with EYSA gear. How can I get those items?

There are numerous items for sale with the EYSA logo. You can purchase these items and show support of the program.  The following items can be purchased at the soccer shed on Saturday mornings during the season:  water bottle, ball/equipment bags, caps, stainless coffee mugs, first aid kits, wrist bands and fan/player favorite - cowbells.
